One of my favorite times of the year is the 98 days between Memorial Day and Labor Day.
Dr. Rob Gilbert, a friend, mentor and creator of The Success Hotline first turned me onto the 98 Day Challenge. Each year he asks his hotline callers to give up the following during this time frame.
- (1) Candy, (2) Cookies, (3) Cake, (4) Chips, (5) Cola, (6) Chocolate, (7) Complaining
I’m a tremendous fan of Dr. Rob Gilbert, his success hotline and The 7C Challenge. I also like to add a little twist to my 98 Day Challenge each year. I call it the 98 Day Start, Stop, Continue (SSC) Challenge.
For 98 Days, from Memorial Day to Labor Day, identify what you are wanting to START doing, STOP doing and CONTINUE doing to help you close the gap from where you are to where you want to be?
I will post my personal SSC below in the facebook comments section and would love for you to do the same if you are on board this year.
Special thanks to Dr. Rob Gilbert for his introducing the concept of this challenge to me.
You can learn more about Dr. Rob Gilbert in our two podcast episodes linked below:
I also highly suggest that you use the app Way of Life on your phone as a success checklist to track your SSC execution over the next 98 days. You can learn more about the importance of keeping a success checklist in this article I wrote about The ONLY tool you need create the process, routines and habits you want and to destroy the ones you don’t.
