Attention Athletes, Coaches, and Parents of Athletes:

Mental Performance is the key to unlocking unshakeable confidence, forging unbreakable mental toughness, and gaining an (almost) unfair edge over the competition

… so why are so many athletes leaving it up to chance?

And why are so many coaches flat out ignoring it?

I’m going to break down exactly why — and what YOU can do to avoid missing out on this crucial aspect of peak performance.

If any of the following describe you…

  • You’re an athlete who’s tired of working your butt off in practice, in the weight room, and in your conditioning… only to still struggle to perform up to your TRUE potential when it really matters…
  • You “try” to be more mentally tough… but it doesn’t feel like you’re getting anywhere, and you’re starting to think you just “don’t have what it takes”…
  • You know you can perform at a higher level than you currently are, but you’re not sure what’s missing…
  • You want to discover the mindset secrets the world’s top athletes use to perform at an elite level — and learn exactly how you can use these same methods to take your performance to the next level…
  • You’re a coach/parent who’s tired of seeing your athlete(s) fall short of their potential because they lack confidence or mental toughness… and you’re looking for a step-by-step program they can use to master the mental game…
… you are in exactly the right place.

Introducing, 30 Days to Mental Performance Mastery: Develop the 10 mental performance skills every athlete needs to reach their TRUE potential.

30 Days to Mental Performance Mastery is a step-by-step course that helps athletes develop the mental performance skills needed to perform at the highest level possible—consistently and reliably.

Hi, I’m Brian Cain, world-renowned mental performance coach.

Over the past 18 years, I’ve had the honor of working with many of the world’s top coaches, athletes, and athletic programs, including:

  • Coaches, athletes, and teams in the NBA, NFL, NHL, MLB, and PGA.
  • UFC world champions Georges St-Pierre, Vitor Belfort, and Rich Franklin.
  • MLB Cy Young Award Winners David Price and Jake Arrieta.
  • Heisman Trophy Winner Kyler Murray
  • The most prestigious athletic departments around the country, including: The University of Alabama, Auburn University, Florida State University, The University of Oregon, and Yale University (to name a few).
  • 100’s of high school and college athletes

Here’s the “secret” elite performers know that other athletes and coaches are completely missing: As the talent gap closes, the difference between an average athlete and an elite athlete lies in their mental performance.

I’ve seen this time and time again with the thousands of athletes I’ve worked with.

Unfortunately, most athletes and coaches are leaving this crucial aspect of athletic performance up to chance. Or, just as bad, they’re flat out ignoring it.

Here’s the TRUTH that you need to know about mental performance if you’re dedicated to becoming the best athlete you can be…

Just ask them: What other athletes and coaches are saying…

When I met Brian Cain I thought that training your mindset was impossible, that sport psychology was for someone who was weak and that you only grew mentally from working hard. What I now realize is that you can train mentally just like you train physically and if you want to be the best you must work with someone on your mental performance because at the highest levels everyone has the physical abilities and it’s your mental game that makes all the difference. Brian Cain changed my mindset, sharpened my habits, and helped me be a World Champion for seven years. Working with him changed my career for the positive and he will have the same effect on you and your career.

Welterweight and Middleweight Champion

It’s no coincidence that the first year I worked with Brian Cain full time I had the best year of my career. He gives you drills and a way to work on your mental game that is just like going to the ice to work on your hockey skills. I can’t believe it took so long to learn that you can coach the mental game just like the physical game. I won’t play another season without him in my corner.

I hooked up with Coach Cain when I was in college at SMU. The training I got from him there I still use in my NFL career to this day. I look around at other guys and smile because I know I have worked with the best and have had the mental training that it takes to be successful at the highest level.

I started working with Brian Cain when I was a sophomore in high school. There’s no doubt that his mental performance mastery coaching was a huge part of my development into a first-round pick. I can’t imagine not having had his coaching. I hear his voice in my head every day.

The impact that working with Coach Cain had on our program and on me as a head coach in just 3 days was tremendous. His simple approach to coaching mindset, culture, leadership, routines, and focus will get you better results.

I started working with Brian when I was at TCU and still consider him one of the most influential people in my career. If I ever need anything, he is just a phone call away. He is like that for all of his clients. You can’t put a price tag on the value of having him as a corner man for your career.

Anytime I have a question about how to improve my performance, I call Brian and it’s like we haven’t missed a beat. He is the best in the world at what he does and was the missing link in my performance. Even though he had never touched a rodeo rope, he was crucial to me winning my first World Championship.

In order to get the most out of your potential, you must train physically and mentally with the best coaches in the world.  Brian Cain is that coach when it comes to mental performance.

The Uncomfortable Truth:

Physical training alone isn’t enough to reach your TRUE potential and perform at an elite level.

What’s the biggest difference between an athlete who consistently performs at an elite level, competing with the confidence and mental toughness needed to max out their TRUE potential, day in and day out…

… and one who falls apart under pressure and leaves you shoulder-shrugging, wondering…  why can’t I play better consistently? Why do I fall apart when the game is on the line? Why do I lack the mental toughness to be at my best when it matters most?

The difference is mental performance.

It’s mental performance that’s responsible for developing the mental toughness to STEP UP when the game is on the line.

It’s mental performance that’s responsible for developing the habits and routines needed for performance consistency, day after day, game after game.

And it’s mental performance that holds the key to unlocking unshakeable confidence so that you can withstand the ups and downs of competition and TRULY reach your full potential.

And this is true at the high school, college, and even professional level of sports. Every time.

As you know, when it comes to improving athletic performance, there are many areas you can focus on:

  • Strength and conditioning
  • Sport-specific skills/technique
  • Nutrition

All important. But none of them will make up for a lack of mental preparation and skill.

Sports are 90% mental, but we work on our “mental game” less than 10% of the time… and that’s a BIG problem.

Why are many athletes and coaches spending so little time on an aspect of athletic performance that plays such a significant role in success?

Here’s why this is happening: Most people — athletes, coaches, and parents of athletes — are stuck in a “fixed” mindset. As a result, they believe that mental skills like confidence, mental toughness, focus, etc. are attributes someone either has or they don’t.

So if someone struggles with any of these mental skills, they just assume “that’s just how they are”, and there’s nothing that can be done about it.

That, or they simply don’t know how to TRAIN mindset in a structured, consistent way, so they fail to address it.

So they spend all their time focusing on the physical side of performance, thinking that’s all they can truly impact — hoping that will be enough.

But guess what? This approach is wrong.

DEAD wrong.

And that line of thinking will never allow athletes to truly realize the level of success they are capable of.

But there is good news…

A fact EVERY Athlete Must Know: Mental performance is a skill set you can train and develop just like any fundamental sports skill

It’s true:

Just like you can train your body to develop the proper technique to dribble a basketball or throw a pitch, you can train your mind to become more focused, resilient, and confident.

But it won’t happen by accident. You have to train your mind intentionally —  with consistency, structure — and proven methods for success.

Some of the mental skills you need to be successful include:

  • An elite mindset. As you learn to grow and train your mindset, you will finally be able to blast through mental barriers that have held you back for so long.
  • Motivation and commitment. When adversity comes knocking (as it always does), will you push through… or fold? You can develop the “staying power” needed to remain strong and focused when things get hard.
  • Controlling what YOU can control. There are a thousand-and-one things you can’t control. Incredible power is found in being able to identify what you CAN control and directing your energy and focus there.
  • Focus and discipline. Being able to identify and consistently do the things that will have the greatest impact on reaching your big goals.
  • Confidence. Learning how to create unshakeable belief in yourself and your ability so you can perform consistently under pressure and navigate adversity.
  • Self-awareness. Being able to recognize challenges before they happen, and develop the self-regulation to get back on track when things pull you off track.
  • Routines and Habits of excellence. Elite performance is the product of having go-to strategies and methods you use as part of pre/during/post competition routines.

These mental performance skills — and others like them — are what I’ve been helping athletes develop for nearly two decades.

And it never fails: As they begin to master the “mental game”, their confidence GROWS…

Their mental toughness propels them to new heights as they become an unstoppable force

…. And they finally start performing up to their TRUE potential — consistently and reliably.

That athlete who used to perform well in practice… but fall apart when the lights of competition come on? They learned how to leverage a few very specific, proven strategies to “turn off” stress and anxiety before a competition so they can go out and dominate.

The athlete who used to let one bad play or one bad game send them spiraling into an inescapable “slump?” They’ve learned how to quickly overcome these challenges, refocus on what they can control, and get back to peak performance in a matter of seconds.

THAT’S the kind of difference mental performance training can have. And those are just two small examples.

Thousands of other elite athletes are already experiencing the benefits mastery the mental side of performance.

Now it’s YOUR turn.

I have taken what makes the world’s top performers successful and distilled it down into a group of fundamental, trainable mental skills that make up what I call The 10 Pillars of Mental Performance Mastery.

For the first time ever, I’ve created a step-by-step program that will help YOU develop these crucial mental performance skills.

Introducing…

30 Days to Mental Performance Mastery: Develop the 10 mental performance skills every athlete needs to reach their TRUE potential

I created the 30 Days to Mental Performance Mastery Course to be an athlete’s field guide — a step-by-step process — for developing the mental performance skills needed to perform at the highest level possible, consistently and reliably.

Here’s how the course works:

The most powerful mental performance training methods, and how to use them to level up in your sport.

Inside the course, I will be teaching you the same methods I’ve used with top athletes in every sport, at every level — from high school on up through the pros. In the past, you’d have to pay BIG money to work with me in-person and get access this vault of mental performance training secrets, but I’m going to hand you all of my best material inside this course.

30 powerful lessons.

Each lesson, delivered through a combination of HD videos, worksheets and the physical workbook that will be sent to you, is designed to help you develop the 10 Pillars of Mental Performance Mastery. Rather than viewing these as 10 isolated skills, think of them as complementary. They integrate together, overlapping seamlessly to create Mental Performance Mastery. And after 30 days, you will have a solid foundation for each of these skills to propel your results to the next level.

10 minutes per day.

Each day for the next 30 days, you will complete one “lesson” in the workbook, watch the video associated with that lesson through the online portal, fill out that lessons worksheet and then put into action what you learn. Simple. Efficient. Workable for almost any schedule.

Exactly how to put what you’re learning into action.

Throughout each lesson, you will be prompted to put what you’re learning into action by applying the strategies, methods, and tips provided in that day’s lesson into YOUR sport and YOUR life. Don’t worry, we’ll take it one step at a time, and I’ll show you how to integrate these new skills and practices into your schedule as seamlessly as possible.

What are the 10 Pillars of Mental Performance Mastery?

PILLAR #1 – Elite Mindset

Without the right mindset, you will continue to struggle with doubt, thinking you “just don’t have the mental toughness” needed to reach your full potential.  As you develop an elite mindset, you will start to see setbacks — things you used to think of as “failure” — as an opportunity for growth, and that makes a HUGE difference.  As you learn to grow and train your mindset, you will finally be able to blast through mental barriers that have held you back and realize your true potential.

PILLAR #2 – Motivation and Commitment

No one is able to reach big goals or max out their potential without high levels of motivation and commitment — this is something we know.  When adversity comes knocking — as it always does — the level of motivation and commitment one has will largely determine whether they push through and stick with it, or whether they give up.  By developing the SKILL of motivation and commitment, you can develop the grit needed to stick with it even when things get hard and you don’t feel like it.

PILLAR #3 – Focus and Awareness

Distractions, negative self-talk, and letting mistakes get to you are a sure way to derail performance.  Athletes who succeed don’t do so because they somehow evade trials and challenges.  They succeed because they develop a SKILLSET that allows them to overcome the challenges and trials they face — and focus and awareness is a crucial component of helping you do that.  With practice, you CAN display a highly trained level of present moment focus and self-awareness so you can block out distractions, navigate adversity, and perform consistently at your best and shine your brightest when it means the most.

PILLAR #4 – Self-Control and Discipline

Elite performance requires hard work and dedication.  There’s no way around that.  Similarly, the pressures of competition are demanding — mentally, physically, and emotionally.  When you begin to intentionally and consistently train self-control and discipline, you will notice that you are better able to:

  • Refocus when facing the inevitable obstacles (have a bad game, battling nerves before a big game, negative comments/expectations of parents, etc.)

  • Calmly evaluate different challenging scenarios and make the most effective decisions. As the self-control and discipline “muscles” strengthen, expect to be able to make objective decisions under pressure, rather than being run by emotion.

  • Embrace the process — good and bad — as an opportunity for growth.

PILLAR #5 – Process Over Outcome

As an athlete, one of the biggest battles you face is this: finding the energy and initiative to do the day-to-day, mundane tasks necessary to reach your goals, even when you don’t feel like it.  By developing the process over outcome skillset, you can redirect focus to what is within YOUR inner locus of control — and drive the actions needed to achieve the desired outcome.  This allows you to develop an appreciation of focusing on what you can control, letting go of what you can’t, and aiming for daily improvement.

PILLAR #6- Meditation and Mental Imagery

Whether we’re aware of it — or not — the mental images we create and carry around (both positive and negative) have a direct impact on physical and mental performance.  When you begin to train the skill set of mental imagery and meditation, you will notice that you are better able to stay calm under pressure and focus on the present task, rather than getting caught up in the past or future.  You will also increase your confidence through and advanced form of preparation, that you competition doesn’t even know exists.

PILLAR #7 – Routines & Habits of Excellence

After nearly two decades of working with the world’s top coaches and athletes, I can conservatively say that a good 50% of elite performance and goal achievement happens OUTSIDE of work out techniques, fundamentals, or any other physical element.  Consistently performing at a high level requires the ability to modify behavior and develop the structure needed to execute the plan.  High-performers know the power of routine — they know how to build and break habits, and they have a certain amount of structure guiding what they do each day.  Those who fly by the seat of their pants or let their feelings dictate what they will do and don’t do are destined to fall short of their potential.

PILLAR #8 – Time Management & Organization

The more automated and organized one’s day is, the more self-discipline, energy, and focus there is to direct toward the most important things.  There is a direct correlation between one’s time management and their ability to exhibit more willpower and show up for a competition or workout and be at their best.  Every decision made each day is like a “withdrawal” from your bank account.  And on the flip side, every decision put on automation, requiring minimal mental thought or energy is like a deposit.  Effective time management preserves energy and focus for the things that REALLY matter.

PILLAR #9 – Leadership

Elite performance is a team effort.  In order to help your team reach its full potential, you have to work on becoming a more effective leader.  Learning to become a better leader creates the opportunity to take your success — and the success of those around you — to greater heights than ever before.  Many teams will fall short because their leadership is coach fed, your team will succeed because it will be player led… and one of those key players is YOU.

PILLAR #10 – The Right Culture

After working with the world’s top programs — in every sport and at nearly every level — I noticed something: The best of the best do things differently that the rest of the pack.  There is a championship culture within elite performing teams that dictates how they treat each other, how they respond to adversity, and their ability to consistently perform at a high level regardless of sport or level.  As an athlete, it’s your job to establish the right culture personally and work to establish this collectively with your team.

Is 30 Days to Mental Performance Mastery right for you?

I want to be clear: 30 Days to Mental Performance Mastery is unlike any other course out there. We’re not going to waste time waxing poetic on all kinds of theory and jargon.

This course is about ACTION! I’m going to hand you the tools, strategies, and skills you need to develop unshakable confidence, forge unbreakable mental toughness, and create the habits and routines needed to perform your absolute best.

That said, the course isn’t for everybody. Here’s how to know if the course is a good fit for you right now.

The 30 Days to Mental Performance Mastery Course IS for you if:

  • You’re an athlete who’s tired of falling short — and you know you have more in you.
Working hard on the physical side of performance and feeling like you have every amount of talent, skill, and drive to be great… only to struggle with things like confidence or mental toughness can be extremely frustrating. If you are tired of falling short of your potential and you’re ready to break through the barriers and take yourself to another level, then this is the program for you.
  • You’re an athlete who refuses to accept being “average”, and you’re looking for something to help you become ELITE.
Within some of us is the drive to be great. Here’s what you need to know about mental performance: 1) Most athletes aren’t tapping into this incredibly powerful aspect of performance, and 2) Unless you are intentionally improving YOUR mental performance, you are leaving results on the table. If you truly want to figure out what you’re capable of, and you want to get an edge up on the competition while you’re doing it, mental performance is your answer.
  • You’re committed to taking ACTION.
To get the most out of this (or any) training course, you have to put what you’ve learned into action. That’s why I’ve structured things the way I have. In just 10 minutes a day for the next 30 days, you can begin to master the skills needed for mental performance mastery.
  • You’re the parent or coach of an athlete (or athletes) who’s tired of seeing those you care most about fall short of their potential because they lack confidence or mental toughness…
Nothing is more gut-wrenching than watching YOUR kid, or the athletes on YOUR team, struggle with lack of confidence and mental toughness while you sit idly on the sidelines, wishing there was some way to help them. This is where the 30 Days to Mental Performance Mastery Course comes in. Mental performance skills like confidence, mental toughness, focus (and many more), are TRAINABLE skills anyone can develop. And the 30 Days to Mental Performance Mastery course is exactly what your athlete needs to learn how.

Pricing

Throughout my career, the majority of my time has been dedicated to working in person with teams or individuals.

However, the challenge with 1-on-1, in-person coaching is two-fold: 1) the kind of investment required simply isn’t feasible for many people, and 2) as one person, the amount of people I can work with is extremely limited.

That’s why I knew the greatest potential for impact was to create a self-guided program that contains all of the best strategies, tips, and methods I use with 1-on-1 clients.

And that’s why I’m making 30 Days to Mental Performance Mastery available for a fraction of what it costs to work with me 1-on-1. I want to get this in the hands of as many athletes as possible!

To reward athletes who are serious about performing their best (or coaches/parents of athletes who want to see those they care most about reach their FULL potential), I offer a $200 discount to anyone who joins my free Insider’s List.

The regular price for an individual wanting to join the course is $397. But if you’re on the Insider’s List (which you can join for free), you automatically save $200 off that price—making the course just $197!

(But hurry: I’ll be closing the Insider’s List down soon.)

For groups wanting to go through the program together, we have a special Insider’s List group rate available during the checkout process based on your per athlete purchase, that breaks down like this:

  • 1-5 athletes: $197 (insiders list pricing shown below)
  • 5-20 athletes: $179 each
  • 21–50 athletes: $149 each
  • 50-99 Athletes $125 each

Frequently asked questions

Question #1: “Brian, you work with athletes of all levels, who is this program for, what level of athlete?

It’s true I work with athletes from 9 years old to athletes in their 19th year of Major League Baseball.  One of the coolest parts of mental performance is that the skills the athletes have are often relevant for where they are at in their lives and career.

In my near 20 years of this work, I am constantly surprised at how similar the mental performance challenges are for someone in youth sports as they are for one of the 5 UFC world champions I have worked with or the over 900 professional sports draft picks.

No matter what level of athlete you are—youth, high school, college or professional—The 30 Days to Mental Performance Mastery for Athletes Training Program will help you close the gap from where you are to where you want to be.

I am confident that regardless of your age, ability level or sport, you will find tremendous value in this training program and if not, that’s why I offer a 100% money back guarantee, I want it to be risk free for you to join so that the only risk is in NOT joining and getting left behind by those who do.

Question #2: “How does the program work, is it in person, online?”

When you join The 30 Days to Mental Performance Mastery for Athletes Training Program, I immediately send you an email to create a username and password so you can log into the members area through my website, Briancain.com, and access the course.

Each day consists of a video and resources online, as well as a worksheet that goes with the video that day, and a chapter in the 204+ page training manual that I will personally ship to you when you join.

You can get started immediately with the videos and then catch up with the reading once the manual arrives (4-7 days from when you register). Or, you can wait to get started until the manual arrives.

I’ve had athletes do it both ways. And Either way works.

Question #3: “Do I have to read the manual? Can I just watch the videos?”

I like to offer three ways for athletes to go through the program. The easiest way to go through the program is to simply watch the videos at BrianCain.com/Login.

The next most advanced way and the way that most athletes go through the program is to watch the video and fill out the worksheets for that video in the training manual.

The best—and “black belt” way—to go through the program is to watch the video, fill out the worksheet, read that day’s chapter in the training manual, and then put into action what you learned immediately that day.

I realize that athletes are all challenged with different time constraints, so I created the program this way so you could find the rhythm and routine that works best for you.

Question #4: “How long do I have access to the course and do I need to complete it in just 30 Days?”

Once you are in, you are IN. There is no time limit for you to complete the course.

I suggest attacking the content in 30 consecutive days. However, a lot of athletes will do a video every other day or at a rhythm and routine that they create for themselves or is created for them by either a coach they are going through the program with.

You have as much time as you need and once you are in you have unlimited access for the rest of your athletic career. This allows you to keep reviewing the material and applying what you need as you grow and face more mental performance obstacles throughout your athletic career.

Remember, the higher and higher you go in competition, the more it becomes mental—because everyone is good.

Question #5: “How is this program similar or different from the MPM Coaches Certification, Five to Thrive, or the PRIDE Program that you’ve released in the past?”

The 30 Days to Mental Performance Mastery for Athletes Training Program is specifically designed for athletes. My examples are of athletes and my voice is speaking and writing is directed as if I am speaking to an athlete.

In the MPM Coaches Certification Course, I am speaking directly to someone who is COACHING Mental Performance.

I created this program because mental performance mastery coaching is the missing link in athletic performance development—and most coaches don’t address this ever important aspect of performance. Or, if they do, they do it by giving you a quote or a youtube video to watch of some motivational speaker (which I am not).

I give you a rock-solid system that I have sharpened over the last 20 years and have used with the top athletes at all levels from 9 year old little league all-stars to Heisman trophy winners and over 900 pro-sport draft picks.

The system I teach in this program is a much more robust, detailed, deep, advanced, organized and simple system than anything I’ve put out in the past.

Bottom line: If you’ve found benefit in any of my past programs—like PRIDE or Five to Thrive—you will LOVE The 30 Days to Mental Performance Mastery for Athletes Training Program, it blows those other two out of the water.

Question #6: “Do I get any personal interaction with Brian when I join this program?”

When you join the 30 Days to Mental Performance Mastery for Athletes Training Program you join an elite group of athletes who are looking to take their performance to the next level and maximize their ability and their career.

I work with some of the best athletes on the planet and although you don’t get any personal, 1-on-1 time with me from joining this course, I always invest in those who invest in themselves.

I do this by hosting occasional live tele-seminar calls on zoom/skype.

I often do these when a professional athlete is at the house in Arizona and we have time to take questions from athletes in The 30 Days to Mental Performance Mastery Course.

So, no, you don’t get 1-on-1 time with me, but I do make group time available when I am able to and I do offer 1-on-1 coaching for athletes who are in the course as an additional service, if desired.

And rest assured, everything in the course has been designed to provide the step-by-step instruction you need to feel like I’m right there with you. This is the “why” behind the videos, the workbook, and all the other resources provided to ensure the best learning environment possible.

I’m confident that if you bring the effort, there is plenty of guidance there for you to be very successful with this program.

Question #7: “I am a parent and coach and I want my entire team to go through this program together a month before our season starts. Is there a group pricing option?”

If you’re a parent, athletic director, or coach who wants to take a group of athletes through this program together for maximum group and individual learning and accountability, my hat is off to you.

GREAT IDEA and great leadership on your part.

The regular price for an individual wanting to join the course is $397. But if you’re on the Insider’s List (which you can join for free HERE below), you automatically save $200 off that price—making the course just $197!

  • 5-20 athletes: $179 each
  • 21–50 athletes: $149 each
  • 50-99 Athletes $125 each
  • 100+ athletes: $97 each

Important: This is for insiders list members only. So if you plan to purchase multiple copies of this course for your team, join the Insider’s List now to make sure you have this option.

Yes, I want to join the Insider’s List!
