Welcome to 1-1 Coaching with the MPMT

We’re super excited that you have decided to work with a member of The Mental Performance Mastery Team (MPMT) in a coaching relationship.  In order to help us accelerate your development and maximize your investment, please execute the steps outlined in the following videos before your first session.

This will allow you to start developing The 10 Pillars of Mental Performance Mastery immediately, get you started right now and allow us to invest our coaching time together into discussing the application of The 10 Pillars of Mental Performance Mastery specifically to you and your situation vs. being an introduction to the program which you can get started and do at your own preferred pace here.

Since it’s the start that stops most people, let’s get started already!

 

STEP #01 – GETTING STARTED: YOUR ONBOARDING PROCESS

This video will give you a solid welcome to mental performance mastery coaching, an overview of The 10 Pillars of Mental Performance Mastery and the skills you will be developing as you work through your mental performance mastery coaching program.  Here’s an article you will want to read that gives you a detailed overview of The 10 Pillars of Mental Performance Mastery, also known as the 10 skills that make the mental toughness skillset.

 

STEP#02 – SCHEDULING YOUR MPM COACHING CALLS WITH YOUR MPMT COACH

This video will give you an overview of how to book your MPM Coaching calls with your specifically identified MPMT Coach.  Your MPMT Coach will also send you his or her Calendly link directly for easy call scheduling to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.

 

STEP #03 – USING GOOGLE CALENDAR

This video will give you an overview of how we you and your MPMT Coach will use Google Calendar to help you stay organized and to assure that we have a clear communication system and can stay on the same page with scheduling your MPM coaching calls.  I have also recorded an “Advanced Google Calendar” (16:06) video for you that you can go through as well either before or after you have your first session with your MPMT Coach.

 

STEP #04 – USING HABITSHARE TO TRACK YOUR DAILY PROGRESS

This video will give you an overview of you and your MPMT Coach will track your daily progress and the execution of your process, routine and new mental toughness building behaviors with a free app called HabitShare which you can download and install on your phone here.

 

STEP #05 – THE MENTAL PERFORMANCE DAILY PODCAST

This video will give you an introduction to an essential part of your MPM Coaching and a critical part of your daily routine, The Mental Performance Daily Podcast.

 

STEP #06 – WORKING WITH THE 30 DAY MPM ATHLETES PROGRAM

This video will give you an overview of how we will utilize The 30 Days to Mental Performance Mastery for Athletes Program to help you build your foundational understanding of MPM and how we will use your notes from this program as part of your daily routine to reinforce what you are learning and accelerate your development.

 

STEP #07 – WORKING WITH GOOGLE DRIVE & GOOGLE DOCS

This video will give you an overview of how you and your MPMT Coach will use Google Drive and Google Docs for clear and organized file sharing.

 

STEP #08 – THE OPTIMIZE BOOK OF THE WEEK

This video will give you an overview of how you and your MPMT Coach will use The Optimize app and our book of the week to enhance your learning of Mental Performance Mastery.  You can create a free Optimize account at Opimize.me/cain and you can access our book of the week list here.
