Adam Revelette is a volunteer assistant coach at Baylor University and editor of Inside Pitch Magazine. Revelette ran the Baylor University baseball operations in 2013 after joining the staff on Aug. 9, 2012. Prior to coming to Baylor, Revelette spent two seasons as an assistant coach at Transylvania (Ky.) University. He served as the Pioneers’ pitching coach, assisted with recruiting, coordinated team travel, organized practices, managed camps and clinics and handled scheduling. Revelette guided the Transylvania pitching staff to a 4.10 ERA in 2012, the second-lowest in the modern history of the program.
In addition to his coaching duties, Revelette is also the editor of Inside Pitch magazine, where he is responsible for writing, editing, planning and production of the publication, which focuses on providing cutting-edge information about the game of baseball. Revelette also spent three years as general manager of the Lexington Hustlers in the Great Lakes Summer Collegiate League.
Prior to his time at Transylvania, Revelette played four seasons of professional baseball in the Minnesota Twins organization and in the independent Frontier League as a left-handed pitcher. Revelette was named a 2008 Frontier League All-Star when he made 14 starts for the Gateway Grizzlies.
A Lexington, Ky., native, Revelette played four years of collegiate baseball before signing with the Twins as a non-drafted free agent in 2006. He played two years at Dayton before transferring to Kentucky for the 2005 and 2006 seasons. As a junior in 2005, Revelette logged 25.1 innings of work over 21 relief appearances for the Wildcats, and he helped UK to the 2006 SEC Championship.
Revelette graduated from Kentucky with a communication degree in 2007 and earned a Masters of Business Administration in applied management through Indiana Wesleyan University in 2013
