Todd Bradley is the head softball coach at Campbell University in North Carolina. I have known Bradley for the past five years having had the chance to work with him at the Florida State Softball camp. He has impressed me as a passionate, dedicated and hard working coach with an excellent knowledge of the game and an outstanding rapport with his players and incoming recruits.
Bradley joined the Camels after serving as head coach for six years at the Division II level. He came to Campbell after a three-year stay at the University of Incarnate Word in San Antonio, Texas from 2010-12 where he was a two-time Lone Star Conference Coach of the Year.
Bradley also worked as the head coach at Pfeiffer University in Misenheimer, N.C. from 2007-09. A native of Pendleton, Oregon, Bradley began his head coaching career and started the program at Blue Mountain Community College (Pendleton, Ore.).
In this podcast you will learn the characteristics that top coaches in college softball have in common as well as the importance of and how to work on the mental game in practice, what it means to pay it forward and how to keep the destination secondary to staying in the present moment.
