Pat Murphy was promoted to Head Strength & Conditioning Coach at UNCW in September of 2007. During his time at UNCW, Murphy has overseen the strength, speed, agility, power, balance and conditioning for all 19 Varsity sports. Though the use of proper exercise technique and proven exercise progressions, Murphy designs and implements year-round, sport specific training plans to pave the road to each student-athlete’s individual training goals and successes. Murphy discusses the similarities in work ethic and mindset that he sees separate the good athletes from the GREAT.
